If Sharon Simmons, the 55-year-old grandmother of two has her way she will be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Trying out to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader has been a life long dream for Simmons. Even though she had to postpone pursuing her dream, due to life's circumstances, she never gave up.
Now Simmons who is a fitness author and actor has tried out for the squad. Although she does not know if she made the team, Simmons told the Dallas Morning News, "For me it has been about the journey."
This story shows me that even when the goal seems outlandish or unlikely (to others) it is still never too late to make it happen.
