I would love to volunteer in a soup kitchen near the major holidays, but you have to sign up early or else it will be too late. However, I try to donate blood to the Red Cross as much as I can in effort to give back:)
ReplyDeleteI've done volunteer work at a soup kitchen on Thanksgiving. It made me happy to be able to provide people with a nice meal. My favorite volunteering was as an adult literacy teacher. I will get back into that soon. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
